What is token pricing?
Token pricing (also called Input and output token pricing): The way providers charge for model use, usually a price per million input tokens and a different, higher price per million output tokens. Knowing it lets you estimate cost per request and see why long prompts and long replies matter.
Token pricing: an example
If input costs Rs 100 per million tokens and a request uses 2,000 input tokens, that part costs Rs 0.20.
