What is multi-turn conversation?
Multi-turn conversation: An exchange where the user and model send several messages back and forth, and each new reply depends on the earlier ones. Since the model keeps no memory of its own, the application must resend the relevant history with each call.
Multi-turn conversation: an example
A user asks 'What is the tenure of the plan?' and then 'Can I extend it?', where 'it' refers to the plan mentioned earlier.
