What is collocation?
Collocation: A combination of words that occurs together more often than chance would predict and often has a fixed meaning. Statistical measures such as pointwise mutual information help discover them from a corpus.
Collocation: an example
"strong tea" is a collocation in English while "powerful tea" sounds wrong.
