What is neural radiance field?
Neural radiance field (also called NeRF): A representation that trains a small neural network to output colour and density for any 3-D position and viewing direction, so new views of a scene can be rendered from a set of photos with known camera positions.
Neural radiance field: an example
With 60 photos of a temple statue, a radiance field renders it from viewpoints no photographer captured.
