What is stop words?
Stop words (also called Stopword removal): Very common words, such as 'the', 'is' and 'of', that carry little meaning for many text tasks. Removing them shrinks the vocabulary and can reduce noise, though for some tasks, such as sentiment, they matter.
Stop words: an example
Filtering 'the', 'a' and 'is' from 'the food is great' leaves 'food great'.
