What is model signing?
Model signing: Attaching a cryptographic signature to a model file so that anyone can verify who published it and that it has not been altered since. It helps establish provenance in the AI supply chain, in the same way that signed software packages do.
Model signing: an example
Before deploying, a pipeline verifies the signature on a downloaded model and rejects it if the hash does not match the publisher's record.
