What is long-term memory?
Long-term memory: Information an agent stores outside the context window so it survives between sessions, for example in a vector database or document store, and retrieves when relevant. It supports personalisation and learning from past work.
Long-term memory: an example
Weeks later, the agent retrieves the saved note 'user's company fiscal year starts in April' before building a report.
