What is fisher's exact test?
Fisher's exact test: A test of association between two categorical variables in a 2 by 2 table that computes the exact probability of the observed table, rather than using an approximation. It is preferred when counts are small.
Fisher's exact test: an example
With 3 of 8 users converting under A and 7 of 9 under B, the counts are too small for the chi-square approximation, so this exact test is used.
