What is variable?
Variable: A name that refers to a value stored in memory. You create it by assigning a value to the name, and later code uses the name to read or replace that value. Variables let a program keep track of data such as counts, text or results as it runs.
Variable: an example
price = 499 creates a variable called price that refers to the integer 499; later price = price * 2 makes it refer to 998.
