What is defaultdict?
defaultdict: A dictionary from the collections module that automatically creates a default value for a missing key using a factory function you supply. It removes the need for checks before appending or counting.
defaultdict: an example
d = defaultdict(list); d['Delhi'].append('Rohan') works even though 'Delhi' was never added.
