What is conversation buffer memory?
Conversation buffer memory: A simple chat-memory approach that stores the raw messages of a conversation and replays them in the prompt each turn, as offered by frameworks such as LangChain. It is easy and lossless but grows without limit, so it is often paired with trimming or summaries.
Conversation buffer memory: an example
A chatbot keeps all 12 messages in a list and sends them with the 13th user question.
