What is unigram?
Unigram: An n-gram of length one: a single word or character considered by itself, with no context. Unigram counts give word frequencies, and a unigram model assumes each word is independent of its neighbours.
Unigram: an example
In "to be or not to be" the unigram "to" appears twice.
