What is egress filtering?
Egress filtering: Restricting which destinations and kinds of data a system can send out, for example allowing an agent to contact only approved domains. It limits the damage if an injection succeeds, because stolen information cannot easily leave the environment.
Egress filtering: an example
An agent's sandbox permits calls only to the company's own API domain, so an injected command to post secrets to a random website fails.
