What is browser agent?
Browser agent (also called Web agent): An agent that operates a web browser by reading pages and clicking, typing and scrolling, so it can complete tasks on sites that have no API. It is powerful but fragile, because page layouts change, and risky, because pages can contain hidden instructions.
Browser agent: an example
A browser agent logs into a vendor portal, downloads last month's invoice PDF and saves it to a folder.
